Kyocera Solar Submersible Water Pumps
(Sorry, these are no longer available.)
|
| Kyocera offers a line of submersible pumps and controllers
that will fit any situation and budget. Their SD line of positive
displacement diaphragm pumps are small enough to install by hand and
they can lift water from wells as deep as 230' or produce over 4 gpm
from a shallow water source. These pumps are constructed of marine grade
bronze and 304 stainless steel and they can operate with only 35 watts
of 12-30V of DC power (shallow wells with low volume requirements).
There are three different models of Kyocera SD pumps available depending
on your lift and volume requirements so click on the SD spec sheet to
see which model will best suit your needs and then look at the chart
below to see how much it costs. Kyocera offers a 1 year warranty on
their SD pumps against defects in materials and workmanship. The SD line
of pumps should not be submerged more than 60' below the surface of the
water or its seals may be damaged and water intrusion into the motor
casing may occur. |

| The Kyocera SC line of submersible centrifugal pumps feature
brushless DC permanent magnet motors for maintenance free operation. The
motors are quiet and feature internal pressure equalization which allows
them to be submerged to any depth without damage to any of its seals.
The multi-stage centrifugal pump ends (manufactured by Goulds Pumps) are
constructed of 304 stainless steel with rugged thermoplastic impellers
and diffusers which are resistant to mineral and algae deposits. All of
the SC pumps are designed to fit in a 4" well casing. The use of a
tracker mounted solar array is highly recommended when using an SC pump
since a centrifugal pump will not produce any water if the solar array's
output is too low. Using a tracker increases the number of hours that
the solar array's output will be sufficient to push the water all the
way out of the well and into your tank. Kyocera offers a one year
warranty on the SC pumps against defects in materials and workmanship.
There are several different models of Kyocera SC pumps available based
on your total lift and daily volume requirements. Please click on the
Kyocera SC spec sheet to determine which model will best fit your needs
and then look at the chart below to see how much that unit costs. |
